A LITTLE RAIN.....OK A LOT OF RAIN!!!!

Last night we spent 2 hours moving poor shivering horses around to warmer stalls. Most of them were fine but a few of the older ones were quite cold. After spending the time moving horses we also decided to do a night time feed to keep their metabolism cruising. That seemed to make a big difference for them. It has been raining non-stop for 2 days now. WE have worked hard to keep the puddles from forming in the stalls, but it's a neverending battle right now.

The good part about yesterday was that we picked Alonso up for the summer!!!! YEAH!!!!! He got to meet his new dog... Isack!! He was so happy to have him and Isack was way happy to be had!! Here they are playing on a rainy day up on the sawdust pile.

Alonso will be with us all summer. We are too excited.

OOooooohhhhhh!!! We have had that happen with the goats -- cold rains, freezing goats without shelter. It sure gets cold working in the rain like that! How exciting that Alonso is there for the summer, he is going to have a blast! Have him check into The Dog Whisperer to learn how to train his new dog.
