A PERFECT NIGHT FOR FRIENDS!!

Last Friday night we had another get together. It was quite a turnout. I think all the boarders were there. We had LOTS to eat, Chili, cornbred, deserts... the works. Our newest Boarder, Heather and her boyfriend Brian were able to attend. HTis worked perfectly as they were able to hook up with a few different people for riding during the weekend. The night was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. The fire was blazing and made it just right for sitting by the fire.

WOW WHAT A STORM

Last night was quite a ride.. ok not literally... Memo and I had just come back from dinner with the Millers and my Mom and Nana and there was a little bit of lightening on the ridge. We went inside, did a couple chores then came out to walk the stable about 1/2 hour later... wow what a difference! There was lightening everywhere and the thunder was rolling. We were watching it and enjoying it, no rain just a little spitting (no not Memo... the clouds) We had no sooner walked in the house than the hail hit! It came roaring down! About 20 minutes of hard nasty hail with rain. The wind was blowing and boy was the thunder clapping!

This morning Memo had the chance to drag the whole stables. Check out these incredible pictures! He has made the stables look brand new! I am so proud!!!

Memo and I are going to the Grand Canyon for New Years so we jsut wanted to wish everyone at the stables HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Big thanks to Brian and Janis for watching the stables and feeding!!!

BOYS WILL BE BOYS

Just wanted to share some pictures of the seriousness at the ranch! Memo built this little go cart and will be building matching ones for the kids. He used a 55 gallon barrel we had from work. it's pretty fun. They were running it down the hill. Even Pancho enjoyed the ride.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

Sure seems like the season goes by too quickly! We had a great time. THe ranch was very quiet as everyone enjoyed their 2 legged families. Memo got to sleep in Friday adn I got up to feed. It was very nice being out there with the horses by myslef in the AM. I enjoyed it.


Alonso got a present for Christmas from Santa to go to the Cards game. I was supposed to go with, but got th flu, so Memo's dad filled in. They had a "guy day" at the game. They had a blast!

So nothing new at the ranch except 2 new horses coming in next week. We will be having another bonfire soon.

Ok, we all know Baloo is the most handsome dog at the ranch I must say that Pancho is a close second!!!

OUR NEW RANCH HAND!!!

Alonso is with us this week for Christmas and it's been quite a bonus having him around, not just because we have put him to work, but just by having him around.
He is really becoming quite the farm hand.
